Certified Caregiving Consultant

Becoming A Certified Caregiving Consultant

Do you have family or professional caregiving experience? Would you like to transform your skillset into a career that helps others? Are you open to learning effective ways to communicate with family caregivers in your community? Hone your ability to serve family caregivers as you explore both the Caregiving Years Model (CYM) and “The Process: Listen, Validate, and Ask Open-Ended Questions.”

An investment in our training program is an investment in your career or business. Our Certified Caregiving Consultants™ bill about $40 per 30-minute consulting sessions which means you earn back your investment by billing 13 hours of your consulting time with clients. In addition, we work to create opportunities for you, like presenting at our National Caregiving Conference and joining our podcasts and video chats. You may have gone through a caregiving experience alone. With our training program and community of consultants, you’ve got our support.

To learn more about our CCC and CCE programs and opportunities, please watch this webinar with Denise M. Brown, who developed the program. During the webinar, Denise will share the requirements to take the program, what you’ll gain as a result of the training program and how you can market your expertise as a Certified Caregiving Consultant™ in your community.

I teach the 8 Hour Fast-track course on a monthly basis online & in-person. After enrolling in our course, you’ll receive access to our modules that you watch prior to our one-day training. You also will participate in 30-minute calls with our four CCC Skills Consultants. Our Skills Consultants are Certified Caregiving Consultants who help you practice listening, questioning and validating — the core skills of our program. We also have consultants who will help you use our caregiving tools and assessments with your clients and help you with your networking skills. During our one-day class. we’ll review material covered in the modules while you demonstrate knowledge of the skills and tools. You’ll also tell a four-minute caregiving story, either yours and another’s (like a colleague or friend). At the end of the day, you’ll take an exam. We do not offer refunds once you enroll.
