I am here to support you (Most likely a Family Caregiver) through a strength-based mindfulness-informed transpersonal approach to care that is trauma-sensitive, gender-affirming, ADA-accessible and dementia friendly. I also offer pescetherapy, which is fishing as the mode of therapy.
*Teletherapy and in-home visits are possible if requested.

Mindfulness Based Therapy
“For choice, we need awareness, for change we need awareness and action.” (Friedman 1999)
I work with individuals weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly, or on an as-needed basis. Individual therapy is great for working with specific needs that require deep exploration and attention. Occasionally, individuals have the opportunity to work individually and within a group. Sessions take place in an office setting or in a secure online platform.

I work with groups weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly, or on an as-needed basis. Group therapy is ideal for applying social skills, practicing self-care, and working with distress tolerance. Groups are typically 3-5 members in size and run for 4-week cycles. Sessions take place in an office setting or in a secure online platform.
“Those aspects of one’s functioning that are disowned-that is, not experienced as self, are not fully available for contact with the environment. The more limited one’s capabilities for contact, the more one’s experience of self and of the environment becomes fragmentary, disorganized, and subject to resistance.” (James, 1993)
