A Holistic, Seasonal, and Accessible Approach to Healing
At Contemplative Caregiver, we offer counseling that reflects the complexity of being human—and the courage it takes to care. Our work blends traditional psychotherapy with nature-based practices, community connection, and a respect for the full human experience. Whether you’re navigating burnout, grief, anxiety, or the quiet ache of compassion fatigue, we’re here to walk beside you.
We believe healing doesn’t come from one method—it comes from honoring where you are, what you carry, and what you long to become. Our counseling sessions are available online, in person, and outdoors, and are built to support individuals, groups, and caregivers of all kinds.

- Therapeutic Fishing
- Mindful Hiking

- Wildlife Observation and eco-education
- Seasonal Sensory Therapy to align body and mind with the natural world
We are proud to partner with Wilderness on Wheels and utilize Colorado’s Accessible Fishing Areas to make these sessions inclusive and accessible for everyone.
Telehealth Integration
Care That Adapts to You
We know that access is everything. That’s why we offer full telehealth options for all our individual counseling services, available via Headway while we finalize credentialing with Colorado’s major insurers. Telehealth allows continuity of care from your home or any private space.
For those who start online, we offer seamless transitions into outdoor or in-person sessions when ready.
Retreats as Therapy
Immersive, Restorative, and Transformative
Sometimes a deeper reset is needed. Our retreats offer immersive, multi-day therapeutic experiences designed for deep processing, connection, and rejuvenation. Whether it’s a creative grief retreat like Brush With Grief or a fishing-based caregiver gathering, our retreats create space for sustained healing and belonging.
